Photoblog | Mirror Images Photography

I took a photography class at the community college my senior year, where we focused on black and white film. That’s where the name comes from, since the emulsion is the part of film which records the image. These images come from several of the assignments I had, included documentation of a speech and debate tournament. I certainly enjoyed using film and learning how to develop it and make prints from negatives myself, but digital technology makes a lot of things easier. Which isn’t always a good thing, as film can make you slow down and force you to be more thoughtful in your approach.
