this week’s photo.
October 26, 2008
There is a new photo this week, just like I promised.
Anyway, I took this a few months ago when we tried to climb Mount Audubon. Since it’s pretty far North we didn’t get there earlier enough to make it to the top, but we hiked to Mitchell Lake, where I got this picture. This one actually has a hidden message in it, let me know if you can figure it out.

Nice! I’m enjoying your updates. But I can’t see the message…

Nice picture! I can’t see the message either…

The message is hidden in the art, basically, what does the image mean to you? For a hint about what I wanted the picture to say, hover over it. Thanks!

“His hope, His covenant, His blood, support me in the whelming flood… On Christ the solid rock I stand.” Is that it?

I wasn’t thinking of those words in particular, but you definitely hit the nail on the head.

Beautiful picture! I totally know what it means. It’s telling us rocks can’t move. =) Other than that, I echo Matthew. Christ is our foundation.

I actually just remembered another meaning of the picture that I had in mind. Sometimes society can be like the water rushing in the wrong direction, and we have to stand firm like the rock to keep from getting washed away. This can also keep other people from running down the wrong path.

Could it mean that takes one adversarial person to make every thing around them turmoil?
Also along Christ being as our foundation, couldn’t the rock be Christ, and not us standing in the world? Because without Christ we can’t stand against evil?
